Confirmation and Reconfirmation
We usually prefer to settle your booking by email but not phone call. In general, no booking fee or deposit is needed for booking with us directly but you need to reconfirm your booking by call or email minimun in two days in advance. Otherwise we will cancel your booking one-day before your arrival.


During peak season or some important festivals ( for example, Chinese Spring Festival, 1 st Oct National Holiday, etc)or booking more than one rooms, some deposit is required by money transfer in advance. For more details of our bank account, please contact us by email. As we can only take cash but not credit card, you need to transfer money into our Bank accounts of Bank of China or Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. Please find details below:

You can have money transfered from other countries with US dollar or Euro to Bank of China . It will take about 3 C10 days and costs differently depending on which country you are in.

Booking Amending and Cancellation
You may cancel your booking up to seventy-two hours before arrival. Please do so directly with us through email or phone call.( This term is not applicable to the period of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.see more )

The deposits are non refundable for late cancellation but can be transferred to your next booking or another user.

In case of a No-show without notice in advance, your booking will be canceled and the deposit will neither be balanced nor refunded even you come one day later.

Booking Extension

When you have made a reservation over the Internet and you wish to extend your stay, you have to make a second, separate reservation for extension). If there is no online availability on the extended dates which means that all our beds for sale on the web are fully booked, you could contact us by emai for helpl and we will do our best to book you in. Or you could just show up and check with the reception when you arrive at our hostel ( not recommended in high season).

Note: we strongly recommend and suggest you should apply for extension as soon as possible if you would like to stay longer during April to October when it is busy.
